Security solutions provider VASCO recently introduced authentication remote access security for Microsoft Exchange Server 2000. The offering was developed by Indentikey, a security company purchased by VASCO in early April. According to the company, the VASCO Indetikey offering is easily installed and integrated with Exchange Server, and providesd authentication by replacing usernames and passwords. IBM Corp.

announced the launch of its DB2 database software, version 7.2. According to the firm, the new version includes enhanced integration capabilities with WebSphere Application Server and MQSeries, and offers access to expanded data sources including rival database products such as Aracle, Sybase and Microsoft SQL Server.
