Crosscheck unveils SOA test tool

Crosscheck Networks Inc. of Boston is shipping a Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) tool designed to help development teams test data sets in service oriented architecture (SOA) environments.

SOAPSonar version 3.5, which is based on XSD mutation technology, includes direct database integration and Web Services Definition Language (WSDL) loading. Quality assurance teams can set global policies that can be assigned to custom test groups.

SOA and its discontents

Users can generate functional, performance, interoperability and vulnerability test suites. Security features include public key infrastructure (PKI) support, X.509 tokens, Kerberso tokens and support for RSA, DSA, DH, SHA and MD5 algorithms.

The software allows functional regression testing, which includes a no-code technology for building and maintaining test suites using a graphical SOAP view with dynamic array boundary selection and abstract type handling.
