CA announces lots of mainframe improvements

IT management software vendor CA announced Monday at the SHARE Conference and Trade Show in San Jose several enhancements to its mainframe management software for the z/OS, z/VSE, and z/VM platforms.

The offerings are either available, or scheduled for short-term release. These include CA SymDump Batch r8 (which will integrate with CA Endevor Software Change Manager), CA Spool r11.5 (which will include IPv6 support and new remote printing support drivers), CA Database Management r11.5 SP2 for DB2
