01 Communique turns on computers from afar

Toronto-based remote access and support software vendor 01 Communique announced today the release of I’m InTouch Premium.

The remote access product is geared toward business users that need to access their computers from anywhere; with the program, the computer doesn’t need to be turned on for remote access to take place. A central Web-based administration page allows users to manage several machines at once from a familiar Web environment.

This should offer enterprises reduced costs and an eco-friendly boost in terms of being able to turn off even the workstations that might be remotely accessed over the weekend or from abroad.
